Skybrokers installs a 6 1m antenna in Lima Peru

Skybrokers (http://sky-brokers.com) delivered an used and refurbished VertexRSI 6.1m Earth Station Antenna to Lima Peru. The antenna was placed on a 25-story building and installation was performed in conjunction with the customer and was finished in January 2019. The antenna is currently the highest satellite antenna in Latin America.

VertexRSI 9m installation & refurbishment at ESA Redu for SES Satellite operator

Our project and installation team currently works on a installation and refurbishment of a VertexRSI 9m Earth Station Antenna for SES satellite operator. The antenna is being installed at the ESA site in Redu, Belgium.

Skybrokers de-installs 30+ satellite Antennas in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Skybrokers (http://sky-brokers.com) de-installed five earth station antennas (2x Andrew 4.5m & 3x Andrew 5.6m antennas) and 25+ VSAT antennas from a 4-story office building in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This challenging project took 2 weeks in January 2018 with incredible help of the customer and contractors. The majority of the VSAT antenna were scrapped and metal was recycled. The Earth Station Antennas were disassembled and transported back to our facility in Central Europe where they will be completely refurbished and prepared for re-installation. Watch the video:

Skybrokers delivered and installed a VertexRSI 6,1m Antenna in Rome

Skybrokers completed the last antenna project for 2017! We delivered and installed an used and refurbished VertexRI 6.1m Earth Station Antenna to a client in Roma, Italy in December 2017. The project was performed by a three-member installation & project team with great help of the customer. Watch the video!

VertexRSI 9m Earth Station antenna installation in Frankfurt area, Germany

Skybrokers (http://sky-brokers.com) delivered and installed an used and refurbished Vertex 9.0m earth station antenna with a Scientific Atlanta (Viasat) 10m Pedestal mount in Usingen (Frankfurt Area), Germany. The installation was successfully performed by a two-member installation team and took 3.5 weeks in November 2017. Watch the installation video!

Skybrokers (sky-brokers.com) was contracted to remove a VertexRSI 9.0m earth station antenna in Guildford, UK in March 2017. We took the antenna down in one week and moved it with a dedicated truck to our facility in Central Europe for refurbishment. Watch the video published on YouTube!

De-installation of a VertexRSI 9m antenna in Vienna

In December 2016 our team dismantled a Vertex 9m antenna in Vienna, Austria. A challenging project since we had to de-install in the air due to limited space. With special equipment and trucks we finished the job in less then one week!

Nuuk in Greenland!

Here is another antenna project we are working on! Skybrokers delivered a used VertexRSI 9m antenna to Greenland Television. The antenna was refurbished in our facility in Europe and shipped by container overseas to Nuuk in Greenland. With remote support from us the customer did the majority of the assembly of the antenna that is placed on a hill. 
Skybrokers technicians will align the main reflector and test the antenna in the next weeks.

Refurbished RSI (VertexRSI) 9.2m antenna for GuyaCom

Work in progress! Skybrokers delivered a RSI 9.2m Earth Station antenna to French Guiana last month. This antenna was completely refurbished in our facility in Europe, we added new hardware kits and motors with gearboxes and checked out the whole system before loading into a 40ft sea-container. The customer could perform an excellent installation. 

On September 12th the reflector was lifted onto the tripod mount successfully. Coming days the installation will be completed and the antenna will be put in operation.

Refurbished Earth Station antennas at Skybrokers

Next week we are busy with loading 4 antenna for a customer in South America. We are loading a 9.2m C-band, a 4.6m Ku-band antenna and 2x 2.4m VSAT antennas in a 40ft ocean container for overseas shipment. Both large antennas were refurbished and checked out at our facility in Europe.

Installing 2x ASC Signal 7.6m antennas at OMNIAccess Mallorca

Skybrokers installation team was requested to install two new ASC Signal 7.6m earth station antennas at OMNI Access Marine Network Solutions on Mallorca (Balearic Islands). The team spend 4-5 weeks to assemble, install, erect and align the antennas to support OMNI Access with their Teleport expansions. Watch the installation video on YouTube!

Skybrokers delivered an used and refurbished Vertex 9m Earth Station antenna to DISH TV in India. The client was satisfied and happy with the quality of the refurbishment after his visit to our facility in Europe. We provided new motors and gearboxes as well as new jack boots, checked out and completed hardware kits. Out team loaded the antenna in a 40ft sea container and the customer was involved with installation.

Skybrokers installation team currently installs two Andrew 7.6m antenna at OMNIAccess Marine Network Solutions on Mallorca (Baleares Islands). OMNIAccess is providing internet access to the Super and Mega Yachts. To support their growth the company is expanding their infrastructure with another two earth station antennas. Skybrokers delivered and installed almost all of their teleport antennas and was requested to install another two 7.6m antennas this month.

Skybrokers installation team finished the de-installation of an Andrew 4.6m Ku-band Earth Station antenna. The de-commissioning of this antenna was part of a de-installation of two antennas in Geneva, Switzerland. The antenna will be completely refurbished in our facility in Europe and becomes available for sale. The dismantling was filmed and the video can be watched in YouTube!

..and here is the 2nd antenna that we dismantled in the same sequence as the 11m Viasat. The antennas are currently loaded into a truck and will be transported back to our facility for full refurbishment.

Delivery of a refurbished RSI 9.2m antenna to Chabarovsk in Russia

Last year Skybrokers (sky-brokers.com) delivered after export approval and installed a RSI (VertexRSI) 9.2m Earth Station Antenna in Russia. The installation was performed by a two member local installation team in Chabarovsk and took 3 weeks.

Lots of activities at Skybrokers in March and April! We are currently refurbishing Earth Station antennas at our facility in Europe. A RSI (VertexRSI) 9.2m C-band is being prepped as well as an Andrew 3.7m, 4.6m and 7.6m. Antennas are pressure washed and panels are painted. New hardware kits are being procured and motorization is checked out. The RSI antenna will be completed with new motorization, a 7150 MCU, a Vertex 7200ACU, new beacon receiver, 11-size resolvers, limits and brackets and cabling. The antennas are available for sale.
